Our Neighbourhood
Nearest Airport: Brussels -
our neighbourhood is one the well preserved 19th century quarters of Brussels. Is has several wide and leafy avenuen (Avenue Louis Bertrand, Avenue Voltare, Avneue Huart Hamoir and our own) with lots of stylish town house some of which our Art Nouveau treasures and of hystorical significance. There is also a large beautiful park (Parc Josaphat) which is bordered with café terraces and a large number of restaurants.
As far as public transport is concern: at the roundabout, just two minutes from our house, there are two tram lines and three bus lines, two are going to the Stock Exchange / Grande Place (town centre in ten minutes), two are going to the European Institutional neighbourhood and one is going to place Flagey which has significant Art Deco building and is very lively at night.
