Lovely home in tree filled Davis, Northern California, very close to Napa, Sonoma, the Bay Area, and Lake Tahoe. I welcome you to my home.
Davis is a progressive, medium sized Northern California college town, full of bike and walking paths. My house backs up to a leafy, tree filled greenbelt where people often walk or jog. Our town has a famous farmer’s market and a world class university. There are many wineries nearby; Napa and Sonoma are one hour away. The Bay Area is easily accessible by car or Amtrak. I have two bikes available to explore Davis. I am a liberal Democrat, and I do not support Donald Trump at all. I state this because I think people are anxious that all Americans are the same. We are not.
Davis has many fun restaurants, two museums, bookshops, hiking paths, bike paths, and has easy access to all of Northern California.

About the neighborhood
Hiking, biking, catching a train or bus to San Francisco or Lake Tahoe make Davis an ideal place to visit. There are tennis and pickleball courts close by, and abundant parks for kids. Our university town boasts a fantastic Farmers Market every Saturday. The UC Davis Arboretum is a wonderful place to see plants and birds. Sacramento, just 20 mins away, has fantastic museums and restaurants.

I’m a full time teacher with two grown sons. I value art, nature and meeting others. I hope you have a chance to visit. I will probably be traveling alone or with another teachers.
