Our house is located in the municipality of Rapallo, but outside of the touristic center and therefore immersed in the quiet and the green. The center and nearest beaches are about 10 minutes by car and the closest shop is around 5 minutes. There's a bus service, but it doesn't run frequently. Genova is about 35 min. by car and 50 minutes by train (from the station of Rapallo).

We live in a closed valley between the first hills behind the coast. Our house is right next to a little river with natural pools. We have a big garden of about 5,000 square meters. The nearest neighbors are about 100 - 200 meters away and so is the parking place. The house can't be reached by car, there's a (steep!) path that goes down from the parking place. Behind our house there's a forest that runs for kilometers. We therefore share our territory with lots of wild animals. At dawn you might be greeted by a concert of hundreds of birds.

The house is a three-story house: the ground floor is a basement / work place / storage room. On the first floor you find the main entrance to the house, a big kitchen, living room with wood stove and a bathroom (with washing machine and dryer). On the second floor there's a sitting area / cinema area (we have a projector), two bedrooms and another bathroom.
The house is equipped with satellite internet, but cell phone reception isn't great.
