Lovely house with beautiful garden between Dublin city centre and Dublin Airport, 20/30 min to sea
We have a lovely home, unassuming from the front but a green oasis at the back of the house. The main feature of our home is our beautiful garden room which is a relaxing, bright space where you can sit all year round and feel like you are in the garden – there’s also a lovely wood-burning stove for the winter time. We have 3 floors with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a dining room, sitting room, kitchen, utility room, garden room and porch. There’s plenty of space for parking on the driveway.

About the neighborhood
There are bus stops to and from the city/airport within 1 minute of our house, a local mini supermarket, traditional Irish pub (with delicious wood-fired pizzas), off-license, pharmacy and fish and chip shop also less than a minute away and a shopping centre with supermarkets, cinema and other useful amenities 5 minutes on foot. There are 3 parks within 15 minutes’ walk of our house. The bus journey is 25 minutes to the city centre and 10-15 minutes to the airport so we are ideally located! We are less than 5 minutes away from the motorway making it easy to take the car and go on day trips from our house. The coast is about 20 to 30 minutes by car.

Our exchange with Paul went very well. He is very courteous, a prompt replier and very helpful in answering queries regarding the house and location. The house itself is stunning, extremely tastefully renovated and furnished. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathrooms and kitchen very clean. The proximity to Dublin city is very convenient with regular buses and a taxi costs just under €20 from city centre at night time. We also had a safe place to park our cark for the duration. I can only highly recommend Paul for the welcome extended to his home and for providing everything we might need during our stay. It felt like we were staying in a friend's house.

Quiet, friendly couple looking for exchanges in Spain and in other parts of the world.
We are a quiet, married couple in our late 40s/ early 50s. We are tidy, clean and quiet. We have a plain house from the front but it's lovely inside with a beautiful garden at the back of the house. We are relatively new to house exchanging and looking forward to visiting as many places as we can in the years to come. While away, we enjoy sampling the local cuisine, walking around new places, admiring the architecture, being by the sea and relaxing in a new environment. We love getting away to other places in autumn, winter and spring but we might also be interested in a summer exchange. As one of us is a teacher, most of our exchanges can only be planned during the school holidays. Spain is of particular interest to us at the moment as one of us is learning Spanish.
