A Renovated Garden Cottage in a natural bush setting close to beaches.
My home is situated in a quiet suburb in a coastal town. The house is modest in size but stylishly appointed. Suitable for a couple or single, or could be up to 5 adults if there are two couples. The bathroom/laundry/toilet is adjacent to the main bedroom and studio. The second bedroom is on the other side of the house, with its own private lounge/TV area, however has no ensuite. The dining table can be moved to the centre of the lounge area if more than 3 people are dining, otherwise it works well against the window. Most of the rooms in the house look out to a beautiful native garden. The house is very private. Back garden has granite rocks, lots of birds, and looks into native bushland. I love living here in Albany, it's a beautiful situation. Plenty of beautiful beaches to choose from all close by. 10 minutes is the main town beach and a multitude of cafes, restaurants and good coffee. take a 15-20 minute drive to other nearby exotic locations. Crystal clear waters, white sands and granite rocks. Or drive to nearby smaller tourist village (40 mins) to explore forests, mountains, wineries, cafes and beaches.

About the neighborhood
Albany is a substantial coastal & port city with many attractions, both natural and historical. The town itself has an old world village atmosphere, however the surrounding suburbs stretch out in every direction. My house is situated close to town, within a few minutes drive or 15 minutes walk. The main beach is just 10 minutes by car. We have 30+ great restaurants and entertainment within our city and many more cafes close to beaches and in the port and city area. Tourist attractions include the coast and many beaches such as Middleton Beach and Emu Point. Other attractions are The Gap and Blowholes, Frenchman's Bay, the wind farm, the National ANZAC memorial. Nearby are rivers, ranges and mountains with forest walks. Within 45 minutes is the destination village of Denmark, which is small and full of character with great for shopping and dining, a tapas bar and with more lovely beaches and tourist spots such as Greens Pool.

My family live here in Albany. I have 4 grandchildren living with my two children and their partners in houses nearby. My mother and sister have also moved here recently. Albany is an attractive place for people to move here from nearby Perth as we have a mild climate and the geography and beaches are stunning.
