Our apartment is located in the heart of Aarhus in the charming Øgade neighborhood, close to shopping, restaurants, museums, forest, and beach.
The apartment is 125 square meters spread over two floors.
On the first floor, there is direct access to our garden, where you’ll find sun loungers and a grill for evening barbecues. This floor has a large bedroom and a cozy TV lounge.
On the second floor, you’ll find the kitchen, bathroom, dining room, and two smaller bedrooms. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need.
Aarhus offers a plethora of attractions within walking distance, including shopping, museums, beaches, picturesque countryside, and historic churches. Copenhagen is just a three-hour train ride away, making it easily accessible. Denmark's compact size ensures that popular destinations, such as Legoland, are only a 75-minute drive away, with various other animal and amusement parks nearby.
From Aarhus Harbor, you can sail to the charming island of Samsø in just one hour. There you’ll find farm shops, historic town areas, and fantastic beaches.
The apartment's proximity to the central bus and train stations adds to its convenience.

The apartment is located in the charming Øgade neighborhood in the center of Aarhus. It takes only five minutes to reach the city center, where there are great shopping opportunities in the Latin Quarter and along the main shopping street. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants, and you’re close to the ARoS art museum and Den Gamle By (The Old Town).
Although the apartment is in the heart of Aarhus, the Øgade area still has an intimate and friendly atmosphere. There are playgrounds with animals, and the University Park is right in the backyard. A 15-minute bike ride will take you to the beach, the forest, or the new district at Aarhus Harbor.

We are a family of six who love discovering new cultures and enjoying nature
We are a family of six living in the heart of Aarhus, Denmark. We love exploring the world and experiencing both nature and culture. Therefore, we are open to home exchanges in both larger cities with plenty of cultural experiences, as well as in the countryside, where there is beautiful nature.
We have two boys and two girls aged 8–17.
Our names are Ole and Dorthe, and we work at the University and in communications respectively. We are very responsible and promise to take good care of your home.
