Apartment in THONON LES BAINS, France

I live in an apartment in a tranquil part of Thonon. There are 15 flats in all. My first floor flat is cosy and light. We have a beautiful view of the local mountains (snowcapped in winter). There is an open- plan fitted kitchen and a living room which leads onto a balcony facing the mountain view. There are 2 bedrooms plus a mezzanine above the living room. There is a bathroom and separate toilet. We have a parking space outside and a garage underneath the residence.
We also possess a small chalet in the mountains (30 mins in the car) which our guests may also use.

About the neighborhood

Our residence is quiet and the neighbours are discreet. Thonon is a relatively quiet town located on the Lake Léman. it has a backdrop of beautiful prealpine mountains.The lakeside is very beautiful. Summer activities are in abundance - mountain walking, lake -swimming, tennis, golf (in neighbouring Evian). Shopping is easy with small boutiques in the old town centre or larger stores in the commercial district on the outskirts of the town. Geneva and Switzerland are 1 hour away by car (airport)
