House in Hovås, Gothenburg, Sweden

Our house is located south west of Göteborg (Gothenburg) in a quiet and friendly neighbourhood. The house has 4 bedrooms, an office/extra bed room, 2 living rooms (one connected to the kitchen, the other with a fire place). There are 3 bathrooms, one with a tub). There is also a sauna connected to a shower room. The laundry room has 2 washing machines and a clothes dryer. We have 2 TVs and fast wireless internet access (100/10Mbit). We are located just a 1.5 kilometers walk from the ocean, with several small beaches in the close surroundings. Two kilometers in the opposite direction there is a nature reserve which is good for walking, running, or swimming in the lakes. There is a local centre (Hovås) 1 km away, with a supermarket, bakery and restaurants.

Going to the city centre by bus takes around 30 minutes. The bus stop is located 5-10 min walk from our house. It is possible to manage without a car (and when going to the city centre it is prefereble not to have a car), but a car is good for exploring areas outside the city. Bicycling is also an option. We have 2-3 adult bikes and a number of children's bikes available.

Gothenburg is a the second largest city of Sweden, with plenty of restaurants and cultural opportunities. In "Slottsskogen" there is a big playground for the kids, a small zoo open to the public and a great park environment. Nearby you can find the Botanical gardens.
