Please read: Unfortunately you cannot bring your pets to our house due to allergies, neither we cannot offer to take care of your pets.
We are a large "brought-together" patchwork family. The family members are: Lars (46) is an engineer, Dina (43) is employed in the public sector as a clerk, Frida (14), Mathilde (14), Agnes (12) and Jeppe (10) are students in the public school.
Our house is located in a small suburb area of Aarhus called Hoejbjerg (just 5 km from the centre of Aarhus). Busstop 2 min. away.
The main house is 210 m2. We have 5 bedrooms & an office (with an extra sofabed). The master bedroom and the office are in one side of the house - the 4 kids rooms are in the other side of the house. We also have a very cosy living room with cable TV and Wi-Fi. We have 2 bathrooms each with a shower. In the largest bathroom you will have access to the washing machine and the dryer.
In January '15 we had our garage re-build into an annex (50 m2).
In the annex you will find a sofa bed for 2 persons and extra matresses; enough space for 4 people to sleep. A bathroom with a shower, a kitchenette with a small oven, microwave, 1 cooking plate and a kettle. In the annex there are plenty things to do: soccer game, table tennis, fitness, dart, Wii, flat screen TV, DVD player and a lot of ordinary games e.g. cards, puzzle and check. It is a perfect place for noisy teenagers :-)
Totally our house has room for 13 people to sleep (we can also provide a cot for smaller children).
There is a big garden (1000 m2) where you can enjoy the sun at the big lawn or you can eat your dinner at the outdoor table with 8 chairs at the terrace. You will have access to our gas grill, playhouse, trampoline, a swing, a sandpit, a scooter and a tricycle.
At the other side of the house there is a loungearea/patio containing very nice outdoor lounge furniture for cosy relaxation in the sun.
Our home is perfect for a large family with many children, and even suitable for two families. Or if you just want plenty of space.
Bike exchange will be ok as well.
