House in Billdal, Sweden

Welcome to the West Coast of Sweden! You will be staying in our home, built in 2011, 300 sqm, suitable for up to 8 people. We have 5 bedrooms, and should you need we could arrange for extra beds. Our home is situated 20 km south of Göteborg (Gothenburg), Sweden's second largest city. The beach is a five minute walk down the road, with a unique archipelago outside. There are several other beaches within walking distance.
The village is a quite and friendly place just a short drive from Göteborg. We have one car for your convenience. If you prefer public transport when you go for a drink or two and/or a nice dinner down town, the bus stop is just 200 meters away from our house and the bus will bring you to the nicest restaurant area of Göteborg in just 15 minutes.
We have several bikes which you can use to explore the neigbourhoods. You have the forest within biking distance. You can take the bike on the bikepath with extraordinary scenary to a very nice restaurant just by the ocean. The bikepaths going north and south from our home are to a wide extent going parallell to the ocean.

From here you can also make lots of nice day trips - Denmark is just 2½ hours away with the ferry (northern part of Denmark) or 3 hours drive to Copenhagen. Norway and Oslo is a 3 hours drive away. Why not visit Marstrand, with its fortress, 45 minutes away from Göteborg. In the summer there are lots of regattas here, lots of people, party and good food. It is also interesting from an historical point of view, with the Carlstens Fort on top of the hill overlooking the island. http://www.vastsverige.com/en/Marstrand/
